Fevertree to provide musical support for Violent Tom.
Fevertree are an explosive UK based 4 piece hard rock group. They write and perform high energy, groovy songs that have catchy riffs and vocal hooks that leave the
listener with no uncertain terms that they are the real deal.
Influenced and self schooled by absorbing the classic rock musicianship of 70’ s bands such as Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, Fevertree have a pedigree that goes back over 15 years of history. They took these traditional elements and added their own modern slant, and became less known competitors of more recent acts such as Rage Against The Machine, Velvet Revolver, Queens of the Stone Age and The Foo Fighters, but without ever compromising their Britishness!
Fevertree have recently been on a break due to other commitments. Singer Liam Keenan has been busying himself co-writing and recording with former Duran Duran Axeman Andy Taylor in his Ibiza studios, whilst Justin Bikram has be pursuing his love of acting in Theatre and film. Plans to reform are never far from the horizon.
Band Members include:
- Liam Keenan - Vocals
- Justin Bikram - Bass
- Steve Perry - Guitar
- Dave Eales - Drums
During Early 2006, having just opened for UK Rockers Thunder at The Shepherds Bush Empire in London Fevertree was approached by Martin J Thomas and Brenda A Parker of Goliath Productions Limited. The Band had been ear marked by the senior management of the Goliath Production team, having won a nationwide battle of the bands out of 1,800 rock bands. In short they were recognized as the country’s hottest unsigned hard Rock band. Impressed by the synergy, passion and outstanding musical virtuosity of the band, Goliath commissioned Fevertree to immediately commence work on an original hard rock soundtrack for their exciting new TV show called Violent Tom. The creative dream child of Martin J Thomas, the TV show idea had developed enough for the band to take the bull by the horns and write music, tailored specifically to capture the raw gutsy imagery and the highly charged emotional energy that would be present in the footage. A year later the band had the best part of a new album already recorded, fuelled and inspired by the brutally realistic images of rage conveyed within "Violent Tom" with songs such as Re-arrest me, Damage and Fired up.
Fevertree having exceeded the expectations of their commission have recently got back to together to commence work on a few new additional tracks. Inspired by the pilot episode of "Violent Tom", which premiered at The Odeon, Leicester Square, and the prospect of the TV show now being made into a full length feature film, the bands creative juices are flowing once again and they are planning to be back in the studio early Autumn to further enhance the sheer fury and angst of this exciting and highly original new TV series, and soon to be film.
Though still largely ignored by major UK record labels, Fevertree now intend to utilise the full clout of Goliath to further their reach in the market by delivering an original soundtrack with award winning potential. Record labels look out. Can you afford not to have a slice of this cake once the film hits cinemas worldwide?
